A current member of both Blood Sweat & Tears and the ensembles of Eddie Palmieri, trumpeter and composer Jonathan Powell is already among the most formidable trumpeters in the NYC scene, performing with his own group, Nu Sangha, and performing with Arturo O’ Farrill, Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, Miguel Zenón, Sam Rivers, Pedro Giraudo, and many others.

Jonathan will release a brand new solo project on the Circle 9 Records label in 2021.
