Edgy & Fun 80s-style rock Project “The Sunday Review” joins circle 9

Circle 9 is excited to welcome The Sunday Review aboard our artist roster.

Headed up by singer/songwriter Michael Cerda and Chris Phillips, co-writer and lead guitarist, The Sunday Review brings a fun, 80s-style “Yacht Rock” project to the fold of eclectic jazz and Latin Jazz projects on Circle 9.

The band – with two current members of Hall & Oates in tow (bassist Klyde Jones and drummer Brian Dunne) – stirs up catchy melodies with razor-sharp production to whip up a batch of brand new, original tunes forthcoming on their full-length album “Get Back Home”, which will be released January 25, 2024 on Circle 9 Records.

Says Cerda: “With lots of melody, crafty hooks and plenty of guilty pleasures, the duo have released some singles and a Live EP…the hope is that the music brings to every listener something old-familiar and a good memory or two.”
